Primitive Princess and her owner Katy James went to Onley to do some dressage tests yesterday evening.

Prim has done many events under a professional rider including show jumping and eventing. This was her first competition in 8 months after having a well-earned winter off. Prim is not the easiest horse to deal with at home but once under the saddle she is brilliant and is a beautiful mover.

We did have a few loading issues with Prim and with her standing at 17 hands it is simply not possible to lift her onto the lorry, she is not a horse you can get cross with as you would just end up winding yourself up not her!

Katy Prims owner decided to compete Prim her herself and Onley was her first ever competition indoors. Prim took everything in her stride and did really well and walked away with two rosettes. Well done to you both!
