Oakley left me on the 1st July, after coming to me on box rest with a fractured elbow. We were all unsure whether she would make her beach holiday at the end of July, which had been booked months before her injury. After only being allowed out in a small paddock at the beginning of June, we all were still uncertain if she was going to make her holidays. 4 weeks ridden exercise with me and 3 weeks ridden with her owner Mollie, Oakley was fit enough to trot in small bursts with the odd canter. We got her there and she had a great time at the seaside.
