Summer grazing

This is the first summer the two back paddocks have been in use. Starlette is a horse that needs space to let off a bit of steam when and if she needs to. Tarquin on the other hand has strip grazed his half this summer, too much space and he can get silly and this doesn’t help his old injury. He is very happy in a small paddock as long as there is a fence to wind suck on. To give the front paddocks a bit more time, two thirds of Tarquin’s paddock has been sectioned off ready for a familiar face to return on Wednesday.
